Six individuals have been sentenced to a combined 27 years and two months in prison for their roles in a targeted attack on two members of a rival motorcycling gang. The incident occurred in April 2025 outside a pub on Market Place, Coleford, Gloucestershire. Members of the Rock Machine Motorcycle Club attacked a man and a woman, inflicting serious injuries on the male victim, including a bleed on the brain and a fractured jaw.
The court heard that the violent confrontation stemmed from a dispute between rival groups, 'The Outlaws' and 'The Rock Machine'. On April 5, 2025, five vehicles arrived, and assailants charged at the victims, some armed with weapons like metal poles, a baseball bat, and a hammer. The judge emphasized the perpetrators' willingness to engage in violence to establish dominance.
Five of the six convicted men pleaded guilty to wounding with intent and violent disorder, while one was found guilty by a jury. Sentences varied, with individuals receiving prison terms ranging from over three years to six and a half years. Investigations are ongoing for other individuals involved in the violent disorder, with further sentencing expected. Police have stated that such violence will not be tolerated in Gloucestershire.
