The victims, identified as 20-year-old Sheetal and 18-year-old Kuldeep, were carrying their admit cards, hoping to secure a brighter future through education.
Their own uncle, Harisingh Malviya, is accused of ambushing the siblings and assaulting them with a stick. According to the victims' father, Jagdish Malviya, the killings were premeditated and stemmed from an old family dispute. The accused allegedly knew the siblings' exam schedule and lay in wait to attack them.
Despite the severity of their injuries, both Sheetal and Kuldeep succumbed to their wounds at the scene before any medical assistance could be rendered.
