Autopsy Reveals Gruesome Details of Shotgun Slaying

Jurors heard detailed testimony concerning the fatal injuries sustained by Low, following a second autopsy conducted by two doctors. The examination revealed Low had suffered significant trauma to his chest, right upper arm, left upper arm, neck, and face. The official cause of death was attributed to a "shotgun wound to neck and chest."

The witness described shotgun pellets found in Low's right lung, causing bruising, and indicated he may have swallowed a blood clot. The doctor agreed that death would result from such a blast within seconds or minutes, stating Low was "face on" when shot.
