A woman has shared the devastating impact of a sexual assault, stating her attacker destroyed her faith in humanity and instilled a persistent fear for her future. The assault occurred on 28 July when the woman collapsed after a night out in Gloucester. Abdulla Ali, 26, was seen on CCTV approaching her and leading her away from her intended route home.
While the woman was out of CCTV view, she collapsed, and Ali was observed crouching over her. He left briefly but returned and led her away a second time. She awoke at home with no memory of the event but questioned the morality of her attacker taking advantage of her vulnerable state.
