A 32-year-old man was transported to the hospital after sustaining critical injuries to his back. Subsequently, a 32-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were taken into custody on suspicion of wounding with intent. Both remain in police custody.
Detective Inspector Jayne Coutts stated that initial inquiries suggest the incident was between people known to each other. A police scene guard remains in effect to allow for thorough investigations. Authorities are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with relevant CCTV footage to come forward.
