Burglars Loot Rs 70 Lakh Flat While Owner on Vacation

A shocking burglary in Malakpet, Hyderabad, has left a 65-year-old businessman Rs 70 lakh poorer. The theft was discovered when the victim returned home on Wednesday evening after a month-long vacation spanning Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Goa. Upon arrival, he found his balcony door forced open and his steel wardrobe lock broken.
The stolen items include ₹45 lakh in cash, approximately 15 tola of gold (including biscuits, bangles, and coins), and four kilograms of silver articles. The Malakpet police have registered a case and are diligently investigating the crime. The clues team has already collected fingerprints from the scene.
Investigators are focusing on the apartment's watchman, Arjun, who is from Nepal, as a potential suspect. He reportedly left the apartment on November 25 without informing residents, and his phone is currently switched off. Police are examining CCTV footage and the suspect's phone data to apprehend him.
