Police found serious discrepancies during post-bail verification, including a surety with a fake address. It was uncovered that Sagar had communicated with the abroad-based gangster Rohit Godara using an encrypted app while incarcerated.
Further inquiries revealed that Godara allegedly transferred Rs 25 lakh to Sagar's associate via hawala. This associate also traveled to Dubai, facing scrutiny in another murder case. Multiple police teams are actively searching across Rajasthan and Haryana, anticipating Sagar's attempt to rejoin Godara's extensive criminal organization.
