Rs 20 Lakh Stolen from Bus on Highway

A valuable parcel containing Rs 13.5 lakh in cash and seven kilograms of silver, with a total worth of about Rs 20 lakh, was allegedly stolen from a passenger bus. The incident took place on the Indore-Ahmedabad four-lane highway in Dhar. The parcel belonged to Yogesh Panwar, who had sent the valuables packed in a plastic bag within a rice sack.

Authorities registered a theft case against an unidentified individual on October 10, 2026, approximately one week after the alleged incident.
