Rodriguez, a public figure known as part of the Rodriguez Twinz, has publicly detailed a severe assault that left her with significant facial injuries. She described suffering a black eye, a busted lip, a bloody eye socket, and bruising, requiring emergency room and specialist attention. The injuries were so extensive that she struggled with eating and sleeping in the days following the alleged Friday incident.
Rodriguez explained her decision to share her experience on social media, stating her intention to use her platform for awareness. She hopes her story will encourage other victims of domestic violence to speak out and seek help. She revealed that several individuals have come forward with similar accusations against the same perpetrator.
The alleged assailant, Dexter Gore Jr., was booked on a domestic battery charge and was reportedly still in custody at the time of reporting. This arrest is not his first encounter with allegations of violence, as he faced multiple charges in 2021 stemming from incidents involving ex-girlfriends, leading to a jail sentence and subsequent rehabilitation.
Rodriguez has established a GoFundMe page to help cover her medical bills, legal fees, security costs, and lost income from her modeling and content creation work. The page features graphic images of her injuries and details her inability to fulfill her work schedule due to the assault.
