Pop Star Rihanna Survives Gunfire Attack at LA Home

Pop superstar Rihanna and her partner, rapper ASAP Rocky, were present in an Airstream trailer at their Los Angeles home when it was struck by gunfire on the afternoon of March 8.
Rihanna reported hearing approximately 10 loud sounds impacting the trailer's metal exterior. Upon investigation, she discovered bullet holes in the windshield and alerted ASAP Rocky.
Authorities arrested Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, later that day, alleging she fired at least 20 rounds from an AR-15-style rifle towards Rihanna's residence and a neighboring property.
Prosecutors have charged Ms. Ortiz with attempted murder, among other counts. She is scheduled for a court hearing soon.
At the time of the shooting, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky's three young children, her mother, a nanny, and a housekeeper were all inside the home. Two individuals were also in the adjacent house.
Despite the extensive gunfire, no injuries were reported to any individuals present.
