Summary
- Ex-serviceman paid ₹5 lakh for wife's KMF job that never materialized
 - Accused scammer took money from multiple victims on job promise
 - Complainant filed case with Kadaba police in July 2023

As of November 3, 2025, a retired serviceman from Kadaba has filed a complaint alleging that a man cheated him of ₹5 lakh after promising a job for his wife at the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF).
The complainant, Madhu BB, 41, stated that he approached a Bengaluru-based social worker, Vanitha Shivananjappa, seeking a job for his wife. Vanitha then introduced Madhu to Nagarjuna DG, alias Arjun Gowda, from Chikkaballapur district. Nagarjuna allegedly assured Madhu that he could secure the KMF job if Madhu paid ₹8 lakh, with ₹5 lakh upfront and the remaining ₹3 lakh after the appointment order was issued.
Accordingly, Madhu paid ₹2 lakh on July 11, 2023, and another ₹3 lakh on August 22, 2023. However, when Madhu followed up, Nagarjuna repeatedly claimed the appointment letter would be issued soon. Later, realizing no job would be provided, Madhu demanded a refund, but Nagarjuna failed to return the money.
The complainant later learned that Nagarjuna had taken money from others on the pretext of offering jobs and cheated them as well. Kadaba police have registered a case regarding the incident.
