Redmond Police are seeking a suspect in connection with a violent stabbing that took place on the Bear Creek Trail on January 24th. A sketch of the accused assailant has been released to the public.
The victim sustained multiple stab wounds and reported that she did not recognize her attacker. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, standing about 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a medium-wide build and a noticeably bumpy facial complexion. At the time of the assault, he was reportedly wearing a green hoodie with white lettering, blue jeans, and a black beanie.
Law enforcement officials are appealing to the community for assistance. They are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who was present on or near the Bear Creek Trail between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on the day of the incident. Individuals who may have captured video footage of the assault or the suspect fleeing the scene are strongly encouraged to contact the Redmond Police Department.
