14 Apr
Summary
- Influencer's rucksack discovered near her body in a Gran Canaria ravine.
- Dental records positively identified the victim as Annabella Lovas, 32.
- Police have ruled out a violent death but the cause of death remains unknown.

A shepherd discovered the rucksack of Hungarian reality TV personality Annabella Lovas near the Gran Canaria ravine where her body was found. The 32-year-old influencer was identified by Interpol using dental records from a tooth. Her bag, containing her passport and personal items, was found approximately a 15-minute drive from Maspalomas.
Forensic teams are examining the rucksack to retrace Lovas's final moments. Previously, searches of the difficult-to-access ravine had failed to locate any belongings. Lovas, known from the 2021 Hungarian version of The Bachelor, had a significant social media following. She had also previously been the subject of a missing persons appeal in November 2024, which was resolved when she was located safe.
When her body was discovered in Berriel Ravine on March 6, 2025, following storms, investigators did not immediately connect it to the earlier missing persons report. The body was naked from the waist down, and the condition of the remains prevented conclusive DNA analysis. Police are not treating the death as a crime, stating they have ruled out a violent end, though the precise cause of death is still unknown.
Lovas had moved to Gran Canaria after a cancer battle. Reports suggest she may have run out of money and died elsewhere before flash floods carried her body to the ravine. The discovery of her rucksack is seen as a critical piece of evidence in solving the mystery surrounding her death.
