Authorities allege that Chhabria broke open a locker within the residence to commit the theft. The incident came to light when the family noticed missing items. Following an initial denial by the accused, a formal complaint was filed, leading to her arrest and confession.
Police have confirmed the arrest and the recovery of some stolen watches. Efforts are currently underway to locate and retrieve the remaining stolen jewellery. The investigation into the matter is continuing.
