Entourage Member Charged in Rapper's Fatal Shooting

Dameian Roberson was arrested on a murder charge in connection with the shooting death of Dallas rapper Zecqurie Fields, known as Zeethewizard. The arrest was made by the U.S. Marshals Task Force.
The shooting took place on New Year's Day around 3:35 a.m. in the parking lot of Pink House Dallas, following a dispute between Fields' group and another group of men. Fields sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was among five individuals hospitalized, later succumbing to his injuries on January 5.
Surveillance footage investigators reviewed indicated that Roberson, who was part of Fields' entourage, shot the rapper in the back of the head. The affidavit suggests the incident stemmed from an altercation that escalated to gunfire, with both parties reportedly drawing weapons.
