Rapper Offset Accused of Assaulting Security Guard in Dispensary Altercation

In a recent legal dispute, rapper Offset has been accused of assaulting a security guard at a cannabis dispensary in March of this year. According to court documents, the incident occurred when the security guard, Jim Sanchez, requested Offset to provide identification at the dispensary. Sanchez alleges that Offset became "hostile (and) verbally confrontational" before the encounter turned physical, with Offset allegedly "striking him in the face."

Sanchez further claims that members of Offset's entourage "further assault(ed) and batter(ed)" him, leading to headaches and neck pain that required a hospital visit. Police were called to the scene, but Offset and his group had reportedly left before their arrival.

Offset, however, denies the allegations through a spokesperson, asserting that he had his identification and was presenting it when the security guard "aggressively rushed" him. The rapper claims that the guard spat in his face, which led to a physical confrontation and the involvement of additional security personnel.

During the altercation, Offset allegedly struck Sanchez, after which members of the store's security staff reportedly used mace against Offset and his associates. The rapper has not issued a public statement regarding the specifics of the lawsuit but maintains that the accusations are false and that he was acting in self-defense amid a tense situation.
