- All four defendants deny murder; one pleaded guilty to arson.

Four men stand accused of orchestrating the murder of rapper Tamba Momodu, also known as Teerose, in 2020. The trial, which commenced on Thursday, heard allegations that the killing near a Telford gym was a "meticulously pre-planned" event.
Prosecution barrister James Curtis KC presented the case, stating that all four defendants acted as a team. Evidence has been painstakingly gathered by police to support this claim.
Mahamud Tarabi, Ahmed Karshe, Deria Hassan, and Merje Ngoy all deny charges of murder. While one man is accused of firing the fatal shots, the prosecution asserts that all four were aware of the murderous intent before traveling to Telford. Hussain has pleaded guilty to arson, a charge the others deny. The trial is expected to continue until the end of March.
