Yadavs Detained in Ram Temple Donation Case

Ramshankar alias Tinnu Yadav and his nephew Manish Yadav were transferred to judicial custody on Monday following their 39-hour police remand in an alleged Ram temple donation embezzlement case. This recent interrogation is part of a broader investigation that has seen multiple police remands over recent weeks.

During their remand, investigators recovered a motorcycle and a car purportedly owned by Tinnu Yadav. Both accused were subjected to intensive questioning regarding their assets and methods for allegedly diverting temple donations. Investigators are scrutinizing their financial activities, including potential investments in real estate or other properties.

The investigation has also involved the questioning of other co-accused, including Avinash Shukla, Anukalp Mishra, Lavkush Mishra, and Karunesh Pandey. Previous remands led to the recovery of SUVs, cash, and gold ornaments allegedly purchased with embezzled funds. Retired bank employee Subhash Chandra Srivastava and Ramashankar Mishra, involved in cash counting and transport respectively, were also questioned.

Authorities have frozen multiple bank accounts associated with the accused and their relatives to trace illicit funds and prevent further asset dissipation. The police are also investigating the names of several individuals disclosed by the accused, who may be summoned for further questioning.
