A brutal murder has sent shockwaves through Kodyai village in Rajasthan, following the discovery of a 60-year-old woman's body. Kamla Devi was found deceased in a forest after she failed to return home from grazing her goats. Her attackers subjected her to extreme violence, slitting her throat and severing her legs.
This horrific act was reportedly committed to facilitate the theft of valuable jewelry. Police stated that silver ankle cuffs worth Rs 6.5 lakh, along with other gold ornaments valued at Rs 7.5 lakh, were stolen from the victim's body. The discovery was made by her son, who found the dismembered body nearly three kilometers from the village.
Authorities, including the Additional Superintendent of Police, arrived at the scene to investigate the heinous crime. As of the report, no arrests have been made, and police efforts are underway to track down and apprehend the individuals responsible for this barbaric act.
