In Panche Ka Tala village, Rajasthan, a man identified as Dayam Khan was subjected to a horrific assault by his relatives on Saturday evening. The attackers allegedly used a sharp weapon to sever Khan's nose and ear, and beat him with sticks, resulting in fractures to his right arm and leg.
He was discovered critically injured and in a pool of blood by nearby villagers who rushed to his aid after hearing his screams. The victim was transported to the Nachna Community Health Centre for initial treatment.
Due to the grave nature of his injuries, Dayam Khan was subsequently referred to a higher medical facility in Jodhpur for further treatment. His father lodged a complaint against several relatives, naming Aziz Khan as the primary assailant, citing an ongoing family dispute as the motive.
Nachna police have registered a case and detained two individuals, including Aziz Khan, for questioning. Preliminary reports suggest the accused claimed the victim harbored improper intentions towards his wife. The investigation is ongoing.
