Four migrant workers from Purulia, who were allegedly assaulted by Bajrang Dal members in Chhattisgarh on Sunday, have returned to their home district on Tuesday. The workers, employed at a bread factory in Raipur, reportedly had a disagreement over wages with their employers. This led to an incident where nearly 50 individuals, identified as Bajrang Dal members, allegedly attacked them, accusing them of being Bangladeshi nationals.

Authorities from Raipur district's Kotwali police station intervened, rescuing the workers and alerting the Purulia district police. After verification of documents, four adult workers were permitted to return, while the four minors were placed in a local juvenile home.
