A fatal firing incident in Mundhware village near Kamshet, Pune, has led to the arrest of ten individuals. The violence erupted late Tuesday night following a monetary dispute concerning the trade of lubricant oil. Rohit Madan Kurma, aged 25, was killed, and his friend Prashant Jadhav, 20, was injured in the clash.
Authorities confirmed the arrest of lubricant oil trader Harish Singh and his driver, Ashok Kumar Singh, who have been charged under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Police stated Ashok Singh allegedly fired his licensed revolver during the altercation. A counter-complaint was filed alleging Harish Singh instigated the firing.
Investigations reveal ongoing financial disputes, with prior heated arguments reported between Harish Singh and another individual. The incident involved alleged damage to a vehicle and an attempted attack before the shooting occurred. Police noted that several individuals involved have prior criminal records.
