Pueblo Man Arrested in Deadly Motorcyclist Wreck

A fatal hit-and-run incident occurred in Pueblo on June 27, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist. Pueblo police responded to reports of a traffic accident on Wills Boulevard, where they discovered the victim pronounced dead at the scene. The Pueblo County Coroner's Office has not yet publicly identified the deceased motorcyclist.
Investigators identified a passenger vehicle found unoccupied near the accident site. Initial findings indicate the motorcyclist was traveling northbound when struck by this vehicle. Shortly after the incident, 20-year-old Joshua Marioano Wisthoff was apprehended and brought to the Pueblo Police Department.
Wisthoff faces numerous charges, including vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a fatal accident, and driving under the influence. He is currently detained in the Pueblo County jail with a $100,000 bond set. His initial court appearance is scheduled for July 2.
