In Indore, a postal assistant, identified as Urmila Saini, was allegedly killed by her husband, Akhilesh Saini, a businessman based in Bhopal. The crime came to light when the couple's 14-year-old daughter returned from school and found her mother deceased.
According to preliminary investigations, Akhilesh Saini dropped his two children off at school earlier in the day. He allegedly instructed them to go to their aunt's house after school, stating he and their mother had urgent work. Upon returning home, the daughter discovered her mother with multiple wounds and alerted relatives and the police.
The victim's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Police teams have been formed to apprehend the absconding suspect. While the motive remains unclear, the victim's brother mentioned past domestic disputes that previously required police intervention.
