Christian Barrios was taken into custody on Sunday morning after an extensive overnight search. The 32-year-old is a suspect in a double shooting that occurred Saturday night in Ponte Vedra Beach. Deputies responded to a shooting at a Walgreens shortly after 10:30 p.m., where two victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds and later died.
Investigators determined Barrios specifically went to the Walgreens to confront the victims. Following the incident, a burglary was reported at a nearby residence, and a BMW was stolen. Barrios was later spotted driving the stolen vehicle in Nassau County.
