Police Bike Used for Rapido Taxi Service in Telangana

A police patrol motorcycle, reportedly used for emergency response and patrols, was allegedly utilized for commercial Rapido bike-taxi services in Warangal, Telangana. The incident came to light after a passenger booked a ride and discovered the service was being provided on a police vehicle. The rider stated that a police constable friend had lent him the motorcycle.

Enumamula Circle Inspector J Suresh confirmed the vehicle belonged to the police station and was assigned to SI Shankar, who allegedly allowed Guvva Siddharth to use it for Rapido services. The Sub-Inspector has been warned, and a report recommending disciplinary action has been forwarded to the Warangal Commissioner of Police. Senior officials are verifying the viral video and vehicle records to determine further action.

This alleged misuse of a government vehicle for private commercial purposes has raised concerns about accountability within the police department. Authorities are expected to conduct a thorough inquiry to ascertain how the vehicle was made available and if any personnel facilitated this arrangement.
