POCSO Undertrials Escape Srinagar Jail!

Two undertrials, Farman Khan and Mukhtar Ahmad Gujjar, have escaped from the Central Jail in Srinagar. Khan, a resident of Rajasthan, and Gujjar, from the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, are now fugitives.
Both individuals were facing serious charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Khan was accused in a case registered at Lar police station, while Gujjar faced similar charges from a case filed at Srinagar's Soura police station.
Officials confirmed that the escape occurred, and police have initiated a large-scale manhunt to recapture the duo. Look-out notices have been issued at all entry and exit points of Kashmir to prevent their escape from the region.
