Pittsburgh Shooting: Two Injured in Connected Incidents

Two men were hospitalized on Thursday night following two connected incidents in Pittsburgh. The first incident occurred in Garfield around 9:15 p.m. when officers responded to reports of an assault. They discovered a man with a head wound, who was transported to a hospital in stable condition.

Witnesses at the Garfield scene reported that shots were fired during the assault, but the man found there had not been shot. Approximately 30 minutes later, at 9:45 p.m., police located a second victim in Bloomfield, about a mile from the initial assault location. This individual had sustained two gunshot wounds to the torso and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
