Summary
- Man posed as patient to send obscene content to physiotherapist.
- Accused Tushar, 19, arrested from Navi Mumbai by Surat Police.
- Police suspect similar targeting of other female doctors.

Surat Cyber Crime Police apprehended a 19-year-old man from Navi Mumbai for harassing a woman physiotherapist. Posing as a patient seeking online treatment for a personal issue, the accused pressured the woman after obtaining her number through a Google advertisement.
When the physiotherapist declined to treat him and suggested a male colleague, the accused sent her obscene material and threatened to make it public. He continued to harass her mentally. Surat Police launched a technical investigation and arrested the suspect, identified as Tushar, who reportedly has a Class 7 education and is unemployed.
Investigators found the accused lives alone and receives income from property left by his deceased father and from real estate brokerage. Police are exploring the possibility that he may have targeted other female doctors similarly and are examining if past personal issues influenced his actions. The Surat Physiotherapists Association has also reported similar harassment incidents by other women physiotherapists.
