The victim was reportedly followed by the group, who then made sexual advances before launching an attack as she neared her apartment.
She sustained significant injuries to her neck and back, requiring extensive physical therapy and medical interventions. Her male friend, who was with her at the time, was also beaten by the assailants. The attack was captured on surveillance footage from the apartment complex.
