Four men were hospitalized with serious injuries after a shooting incident occurred in west Phoenix in the early morning hours of June 6. Authorities were alerted by troopers who reported hearing rapid gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered four men with gunshot wounds near 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. The injured individuals were identified as two 19-year-olds, an 18-year-old, and a 20-year-old.
Paramedics transported all four men to a local hospital. The 18-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries, while the other three sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Initial witness accounts suggest that the injured men were involved in an argument that subsequently escalated into an exchange of gunfire.
