Philly Duo Caught Selling Crack in Scranton

Two individuals from Philadelphia, Roger Branch and Quintin Adams, are facing felony drug charges following a crack cocaine sale to a confidential informant in Scranton. The incident occurred on June 12th, when the informant, working with the Lackawanna County district attorney's office, arranged to purchase drugs via a recorded phone line.
The informant was directed to a residence on Myrtle Street and equipped with recording devices. Investigators observed Branch exit a Nissan Rogue SUV, enter the informant's vehicle, and complete the drug transaction, which was captured on video. Following the sale, Adams, the driver of the SUV, was stopped by investigators.
Adams provided conflicting accounts of his involvement and was subsequently arrested. Both Branch and Adams have been charged with the felony offense of attempt to deliver a controlled substance. They are currently detained in the Lackawanna County Prison, each with bail set at $100,000. Their preliminary hearings are scheduled for June 25th before District Judge Paul Keeler.
