Summary
- Couple amassed over $2 million from stolen tools.

- Former pastor exploited addiction recovery members.

A former Pinellas County pastor, Robert Dell, and his wife, Jaclyn Dell, a former Fulbright scholar, have been sentenced for their roles in a large-scale power tool theft ring. The operation, active from 2015 to 2023, generated over $2 million by stealing tools from Home Depot stores across at least seven Florida counties.
The Dells utilized an eBay storefront named 'Anointed Liquidator' to resell the stolen merchandise. Prosecutors alleged that Robert Dell leveraged his position as a pastor and addiction recovery leader to recruit and coerce vulnerable individuals into participating in the thefts.
Robert Dell received a 30-year prison sentence, while Jaclyn Dell was sentenced to 21 months. Their accomplices, Jessica Wild and Daniel Mace, who admitted to carrying out the daily thefts, received sentences of 21 months and 10 years, respectively. The scheme's discovery led to a significant crackdown by Florida authorities on organized retail crime.
