A minor parking dispute in Lymm escalated dramatically when a man, Rogerson, intentionally sprayed a noxious substance in the faces of two victims. The incident began over who had spotted an empty parking space first, with Rogerson ultimately driving into the spot despite the other van beginning to reverse into it. After an exchange of words, Rogerson later returned, hit the victim's wing mirror, and sprayed them with a substance containing capsaicinoids.
Cheshire Police investigated the incident, identifying Rogerson's vehicle and leading to his arrest. The two victims thankfully made a full recovery from the assault. Rogerson pleaded guilty to administering a noxious substance with intent, possession of a weapon, and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He also faced unrelated charges for intimidating witnesses in Trafford.
