Trudi had previously attempted to leave Easom numerous times, but his unpredictable violent outbursts, which she likened to 'The Incredible Hulk,' made escape perilous.
Despite initial dire warnings from doctors about her ability to breathe or speak, Trudi has shown remarkable progress at the North West Regional Spinal Injuries Centre. Her resilience is bolstered by family support and NHS care, though she faces permanent paralysis and cannot teach again.
