Skeletal remains found near Panchkula's Sector 20 cremation ground have deepened a mystery into a suspected murder case. Police teams are actively working to trace the accused and understand the circumstances surrounding the death of Madhri, also known as Simran, a resident of Dhakoli originally from Rajasthan.
Madhri, who worked as a club dancer, had been living with her live-in partner, Inder, since October 2025. She disappeared on the night of November 13, 2025, but her partner failed to report her absence to the police for 17 days.
Investigators identified the remains using a tattoo on her hand and a weight loss slip found in her jacket, which had a contact number for her friend Vicky. Based on Vicky's complaint, a murder case has been registered, and police are examining all angles.
