CCTV footage shows Ferreira da Silva emerging from a guesthouse shortly before being approached by two masked men. One assailant produced a gun, and after a brief confrontation, shots were fired. Ferreira da Silva collapsed at the scene and died. Investigators are working to identify the attackers and determine the motive, exploring a potential link to his recent release.
Ferreira da Silva was convicted for the October 2005 murder of Bruno, whom he allegedly lured to a construction site. The victim's mother expressed a mix of pain and relief, stating that while justice took too long, she was glad he would not harm others again.
