Oshkosh Stabbing Suspect Arrested After Brief Chase

In Oshkosh, a 41-year-old man is in custody following an early morning stabbing on Saturday, February 28th. Oshkosh Police Department officers were dispatched to the 400 block of South Koeller Street at approximately 6:40 a.m. after a weapons call was received.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered a 35-year-old male victim who had been stabbed. Emergency medical services were administered at the scene before Oshkosh Fire Department crews arrived. The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators quickly identified a suspect and the vehicle associated with the incident. Law enforcement agencies, including the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office, Neenah Police Department, and Wisconsin State Patrol, assisted in locating the vehicle north of Oshkosh.
Following a brief pursuit, the suspect was apprehended and taken into custody. He was booked into Winnebago County Jail on suspicion of attempted first-degree intentional homicide and domestic disorderly conduct. Police confirmed that all individuals involved were known to each other and stated there is no ongoing threat to the public.
