Mumbai Police have summoned prominent social media influencer Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, for questioning in connection with a substantial Rs 252 crore drugs case. He is scheduled to appear before the Anti-Narcotics Cell's Ghatkopar unit tomorrow morning. The summons indicates a serious escalation in the investigation involving the popular influencer.
This situation follows a previous legal encounter for Orry in March. Jammu and Kashmir Police had filed charges against him and seven other individuals for consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra. The charges stemmed from a complaint alleging a violation of rules that prohibit alcohol and non-vegetarian food within specific areas of the pilgrimage site.
The earlier FIR, lodged on March 15, cited Orhan Awatramani and others for consuming alcohol despite clear prohibitions within cottage suites near the Mata Vaishnodevi pilgrimage. The police statement emphasized that such activities are strictly forbidden in the sacred vicinity.
