The Orissa High Court has ordered the Puri Superintendent of Police to establish a special task force to investigate the kidnapping of a two-and-a-half-year-old girl, allegedly taken in December 2023. Earlier attempts to identify the child, including a misidentification by Airfield police station in Bhubaneswar, have yielded no results. The investigation is focusing on CCTV footage of three vehicles, one of which has a Jharkhand registration number, as police continue their efforts to locate the missing child.
