William Glen Blake, 56, has been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years for the murder of his girlfriend, Jennifer Ruth Stuart. The conviction stems from an incident on August 14, 2025, when Blake shot Stuart at his home in Oregon City.
Following the shooting, Blake purchased a large tote, garbage bags, and gloves from Home Depot. Stuart's remains were later discovered on September 1, 2025, in a wooded area by hunters who noticed circling vultures. An autopsy confirmed Stuart died from a gunshot wound.
Investigators developed suspicion toward Blake due to alleged prior physical abuse against Stuart. Surveillance footage from Home Depot and the area where the body was found, along with Blake's own confession, solidified the case against him. He admitted to shooting Stuart and hiding her body.
