- Pledge focuses on listening to female workers' concerns.
- Goal is to create safer, more inclusive workplaces.

Forty-two organizations across Northamptonshire have committed to enhancing safety for women and girls by signing the Northamptonshire Women's Charter (NWC). This significant pledge includes businesses, local councils, and Northampton Town Football Club.
The NWC is a direct response to a call for action by Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Danielle Stone, aiming to cultivate safer and more inclusive work environments. Alison Farr of Northamptonshire Business Crime Partnership Ltd emphasized the importance of respect and safety for all employees.
Commissioner Stone highlighted that the 42 signatories are eager to actively contribute to improving safety. She encouraged more employers to join this movement, utilize the available free resources, and help establish a county where women's safety is a collective duty. Participants will receive specialized survey support, training, and informational resources to effectively address women's safety concerns.
