In Noida, a shocking murder case unfolded with the arrest of four people on Thursday in connection with the death of Govind Rawal from Ghodi Bacheda village. His body, bearing stab wounds near the neck, was found in an empty plot in Shiv Vatika Colony on Kathhaira Road earlier this week. Police investigations suggest the murder was committed to protect a woman from domestic abuse, as she was involved in a relationship with one of the accused.
Two of the arrested men, identified as Rohit Rawal and Nafees, were apprehended near Kot Canal following a brief gunfight with the police. Govind Rawal's wife, Preeti Devi, and another accomplice, Dharmendra, were later taken into custody from Ghodi Bacheda village. The police utilized social media, surveillance, and CCTV footage to identify the victim and gather evidence.
During interrogation, it was revealed that Rohit Rawal was having an affair with Govind Rawal's wife, Preeti. The couple allegedly planned Govind's murder to escape the abusive marriage and involved neighbors Nafees and Dharmendra. On February 12, Rohit lured Govind out under the guise of drinking, and together with Nafees, they attacked and stabbed him in an empty plot before dumping his body. Rohit and Dharmendra later attempted to conceal the body.
