Federal prosecutors have indicted Frank Musoke, formerly Nick Cannon's money manager, for allegedly embezzling more than $2 million from the "Wild 'n Out" creator. The indictment details a scheme spanning from December 2019 to June 2023, during which Musoke allegedly misused Cannon's financial information.
Musoke is accused of withdrawing approximately $1.7 million from ATMs, spending over $165,000 on Amazon, and incurring significant personal travel and miscellaneous expenses. The indictment also includes charges of tax evasion for allegedly hiding over $1.7 million in stolen income on federal tax returns filed between 2021 and 2023.
The management firm where Musoke worked reportedly fired him in July 2023 after discovering the financial discrepancies. Authorities believe Musoke has fled to Uganda, where he reportedly holds dual citizenship with the United States. If convicted, he faces substantial prison sentences.
