Four individuals linked to the 'Behanwal gang' were arrested Wednesday night after a pursuit that spanned Nashik, Sangamner, and Narayangaon. During their escape, they stopped at a bar in Sangamner, identified themselves as 'Bhais of Nashik', and demanded free alcohol.
The arrested suspects, including Behanwal, Yogesh Aher, Pradip alias Ganesh Vitthal Kale, and Sachin Gavander, have a combined record of 10 to 12 cases. These include charges of assault, rioting, vehicle vandalism, and extortion, primarily registered at Nashik Road and Upnagar police stations.
