Ransom Notes Released in Nancy Guthrie Disappearance

Investigators have released the full text of two ransom notes as part of the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. She was last seen on January 31 and reported missing the following day, February 1. The Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) hopes the release of the notes will prompt community members to provide crucial information, recognizing specific wording or writing styles.

Authorities also addressed recent reports of human remains found in an Arizona desert area. The PCSD stated that as of August 17, there is no indication these remains are connected to the Nancy Guthrie investigation. These remains were discovered in a desert area approximately 15 miles from Nancy's home and appear to have been there for an extended period. The investigation into Nancy's disappearance is ongoing, and her family continues to appeal for her safe return.
