Reservation Key in Missing Mom Search?
19 Jun
Summary
- Retired agents suggest Native American reservation may hold clues.
- Search group found 25 unmarked graves unrelated to missing mom.
- Savannah Guthrie's mother remains missing despite $1 million reward.

A potential breakthrough may be emerging in the ongoing search for Nancy Guthrie, the missing mother of Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie. Retired FBI agent Steve Moore and retired Pima County SWAT Commander Bob Krieger have suggested that a Native American reservation could hold vital clues to her whereabouts.
Moore and Krieger believe that individuals involved in Nancy's disappearance may have utilized reservation lands to travel undetected. They highlighted the vast, sparsely populated areas that could facilitate discreet movement.
Meanwhile, a volunteer search group in Mexico, Buscando Corazones Nogales, recently uncovered 25 unmarked graves near Nogales, Sonora, during their efforts. These graves are reportedly not connected to the Nancy Guthrie case. This search was prompted by an anonymous tip received on May 10th, indicating Nancy might be buried in a shallow grave approximately 70 miles from her Tucson home.
Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her Catalina Foothills home on the evening of January 31st. The Pima County Sheriff's Department confirmed they are aware of the tips provided to the Mexican search group but have not been contacted by Mexican authorities. The investigation remains active, with Sheriff Chris Nanos assuring that credible information will be pursued. Savannah Guthrie has offered a $1 million reward for information leading to her mother's recovery, yet no suspect has been named.
