The extensive search for 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie has now continued for three weeks, marked by a significant federal operation. Late last Friday, the FBI executed a search warrant at a home in the Catalina foothills, leading to the detention of several individuals who were subsequently released without arrest.
Authorities confirmed that no trace of Nancy Guthrie was found during the operation. A person of interest, initially detained during a traffic stop, has also been released. Sheriff Chris Nanos stated that detaining individuals at a search scene is standard procedure. Despite the scale of the operation, no arrests have been made.
Currently, approximately 400 people are involved in the investigation to find Nancy and those responsible for her disappearance. Sheriff Nanos has pledged that the investigation will not cease, stating, "We won't quit. We're going to find Nancy. We're going to find this guy." The FBI has offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to her recovery or the arrest and conviction of those involved.
