The investigation into the suspected abduction of Nancy Guthrie, mother of 'Today' co-host Savannah Guthrie, continues more than 47 days after she disappeared. Ms. Guthrie was last seen on February 1st at her home in the Catalina Foothills, an upscale suburb north of Tucson. A masked man appeared at her doorstep around 2:30 a.m., the same time her pacemaker last synced with her Apple devices, indicating a possible timeframe for her removal from the home. Her son-in-law had dropped her off at home around 10 p.m. the previous night.
Investigators are currently examining reports of suspicious activity in the neighborhood, including around a vacant home nearby. While additional images have been obtained from Ms. Guthrie's home security cameras, no new images of the suspect have been identified, and efforts to recover more video are ongoing. Authorities have not yet confirmed if the masked man acted alone. DNA analysis is also still in progress as the Pima County Sheriff's Department works to locate Ms. Guthrie and apprehend any individuals involved. A combined reward of over $1.2 million is offered for information leading to the resolution of the case.
