A somber protest unfolded Friday afternoon as angry relatives and residents gathered outside the Jaripatka police station in Nagpur, carrying the body of 21-year-old Chetan Sahare. Sahare succumbed to stab injuries late Thursday night at Mayo Hospital, following an incident that occurred on February 1st near his mother's tea kiosk in the Jaripatka main market.
The fatal altercation reportedly began when two men, identified as Akash Temburne and Gaurav Ambade, argued with Sahare over his sale of cigarettes to two women. Sources indicate the dispute escalated into a physical fight, during which Sahare was allegedly stabbed in the stomach.
